A flexible flat foot is a common condition that is caused by over pronation. When the foot over pronates it causes excess wear and tear on the joints and ligaments of the foot leading to pain.
Flat Feet Appearance
Every foot is different however there are some common features to look for when trying to spot a flexible flat foot. Some of the key points to look for are, the medial arch of the foot collapses and lowers towards the ground, the lower limb will internally rotate and the knees will squint together. These motions will overload the feet and knees and eventually lead to pain.
